Fashion During the Great Depression

I like clothes from the 20s, like this:

But clothes from the 1930s are much better.
1930[1]

Aren’t they pretty?

I like the white gown with the green bow. And the silver gown.

The thing that I like about this shoe is that it has rainbow colors on it.  Also it has a birdie on the side – on the buckle.

I don’t even believe this is a man’s coat.

I like jewelry.
Fashion jewelry first appeared in the 1930s as a less expensive, disposable accessory meant to be worn with a certain outfit. Also known as "costume jewelry" Fashion Jewelry is made of less valuable materials including base metals, glass, synthetic stones and plastic.

All About Math

Esmé knows all mathematicians:  School and mathematics and plusses.

That’s all.

My Favorite Movies…

imageare mouse movies.  And I like to watch movies about rats and about kitty cats and about everything – all the things that God even created.

My very favorite movie is about the mouse on the motorcycle.  It’s fun.

I’ll have a pet mouse someday.  I’m gonna put it in a cage so Flamey doesn’t get to it, and whenever I’m gonna play with it, I’ll make sure Flamey is out of sight, just like we do with Tweety.

I’ll feed it cheese.  I’m gonna buy lots of cheese, so every lunch and dinner and breakfast time, I’m gonna feed my mouse all my cheese.

I’m gonna name my mouse – it’s gonna be a girl mouse – and I’m gonna name her Kate.

My New Year’s Resolution…

is to eat cookies and candy and cake.  And chocolate.
